At first glance one might get the impression from this verse that the unsaved world's sinfulness brings God's judgment. But in fact I find this verse so very thought-provoking because God is calling His people to turn from their wicked ways! Wow. How easy it is to point at unrighteousness in the unsaved when in reality Christians (like myself) need to find a mirror and make sure we are living in a way that pleases the Lord. What's wrong with America might be us.
