"Dear Lord,
So far today I've been alright. I've been a good person and a good employee. I haven't gossiped about the people I work with or the customers I serve. I haven't been impatient with my co-workers or frustrated about today's many demands and challenges. I haven't been grumpy, nasty, mean, lost my temper, spoken harshly or spoken out of place. I've minded my own business and have kept all of my negative thoughts to myself. But in a few minutes, Lord, I'm going to get up out of bed, and from then on I'm probably going to need a lot of help.
