34 Beautiful Minutes of Life -- January 6, 2010My extended family recently experienced the loss of its newest member. Kenna & I lost a niece. It has been a difficult thing to ponder and none of us will understand this side of Heaven why Layla couldn't stay with all of us longer, but we know she has been embraced by the arms of her Creator. She is happy, healthy and loved with an everlasting love. We miss her. We shed tears. We hold her parents in our thoughts and prayers. But we also know that we will see her again. And we know that Layla looks down from above and encourages us to keep on running our race and living our lives to the honor of our Creator.
